The beginning move of the plant named Big Bertha. In this photo, Bertha has already lost a limb. If you notice that one branch just sticking up. It used to have a full head there. These are trying times for Bertha as she travels from one office to the next. Many things are against her.. the machine is trying to have her killed, left for dead.
The story of Big Bertha is a short but sweet one. One day I was told to move to a place in the office where this other guy used to sit for reasons that are of no matter. Bertha sitting next to him at the time came with the deal and so I subsequently inherited her. The story behind Bertha is obviously intertwined in the memories of the owners before me obviously. However, I do know that ever since I had her, shes been good to me, shedding all the time and providing me with oxygen for survival purposes. She's survived my reckless neglect and infrequent waterings. To this she should be applauded and it is for this reason, and the goading of my boss and co-workers, that I fight to save her.
I invite you to sing the Bertha song:
"Berthaaaaa, you're so big and greeeeen
ever since I saw you I truly realized what photosynthesis means
the way you shed is sometimes annoying to me
but I love you girl, you're my green machineeeee"
CHORUS:
Berthaaa, we love you..
From office to office no other plant can touch youuuu,
I say your name in my sleep sometimes
with h2O on my mind, we drink and laugh to pass time
So this move is for you and through it
our love we'll prove.
